ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading Japanese A1 Main Contractor delivering major building projects across Singapore. We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities across large-scale Residential, Commercial and Mixed-Use developments, ensuring construction works meet project, contractual and quality requirements.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities throughout the construction lifecycle of major Data Centre building projects.
  • Develop, implement and monitor Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), quality procedures and inspection schedules.
  • Oversee quality inspections across Civil & Structural, Architectural and M&E works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCR), corrective and preventive actions, quality audits and defect rectification, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on quality inspections, material approvals, testing and project quality deliverables.
  • Lead and supervise the QA/QC team, maintaining quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports and handover requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant construction QA/QC experience, including experience managing quality systems on major building projects.
  • Strong experience in Data Centre, Industrial or large-scale Commercial building construction, preferably with an A1/Main Contractor in Singapore.
  • Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, quality audits, NCR management and construction inspections.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, Singapore construction standards and multidisciplinary C&S, Architectural and M&E quality requirements.
  • Strong leadership, technical coordination and problem-solving capabilities, with experience managing QA/QC teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
