The posting

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will perform product quality inspections, conduct quality tests, identify defects and maintain quality records to ensure products meet the company's specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct incoming, in-process and final product quality inspections.
  2. Identify, record and report defective or non-conforming products.
  3. Prepare inspection reports, testing records and quality documentation.
  4. Assist in investigating quality issues and identifying possible causes of defects.
  5. Work with production personnel to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  6. Monitor production quality and report recurring defects or quality deviations to the supervisor.
  7. Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and used according to established procedures.
  8. Maintain proper documentation and comply with company quality control procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or relevant technical qualification in manufacturing, engineering, quality control or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing quality inspection, product testing or quality assurance preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand product specifications and inspection procedures.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality testing equipment is an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and work effectively with the production team.
