Job Summary
Lead and implement quality assurance activities to achieve plant performance targets and maintain an effective Quality Management System. Support site initiatives in compliance, safety, delivery, cost and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production teams on inspection and gauging matters, including inspection plans, equipment and techniques.
- Conduct root cause analysis on product and process non-conformances to identify corrective actions.
- Maintain, implement and improve quality control procedures and inspection processes.
- Perform preliminary material reviews, analyze non-conformance trends and prepare reports on non-conforming products and components.
- Participate in internal quality audits to maintain an effective Quality Management System.
- Conduct training for certified operators and inspectors.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts (Monday to Friday, Morning & Afternoon shift)
Preferred Skills
- Good working knowledge of Quality Management Systems that meet AS9100 requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) would be an added advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
