KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage contract administration, variation works and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
· Source suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain competitive quotations and manage tender processes for construction projects
· Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, tender submissions and contractual documentation.
· Manage project cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims and final accounts.
· Evaluate subcontractors' payment claims and variation submissions.
· Prepare and submit variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
· Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), carry out measurements, and compile progress claims to support cost tracking and reporting
· Work closely with the Project Manager on additional project-related tasks to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
· Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
· Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages.
REQUIREMENTS
· Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or a related discipline.
· At least 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying within the building construction industry.
· Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
· Experience on Residential, Commercial building developments will be advantageous.
· Good knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variations, subcontract management, CAD software, BIM, and MS Office applications.
