Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VOs) and final accounts for electrical/M&E works.
- Evaluate and follow up on claims, variations and additional works with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements from electrical drawings, SLDs and specifications.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, progress claims and variation claims.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and commercial performance of electrical works.
- Maintain proper supporting documents and records for claims, VOs and contractual matters.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and consultants to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building/Construction or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
- Strong experience in Electrical M&E works is preferred.
- Good hands-on experience in progress claims, variation orders (VOs), cost evaluation and final accounts.
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings, SLDs and technical specifications.
- Familiar with Singapore construction contracts and commercial practices.
- Good negotiation, communication and documentation skills.
