Company: Time Builders Pte Ltd

We are an established contractor in Singapore, specialising in General Construction works and are seeking for Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

We are looking for a full-time candidate with at least 2years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day quantity surveying and commercial matters of our projects, including measurement, progress claims, variations, subcontractor accounts and final accounts.

Key Responsibilities

· Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, specifications, and delivery terms

· Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements and cost estimates.

· Prepare cost comparison reports to support purchasing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities

· Review construction drawings, specifications and contract documents.

· Prepare and submit progress claims to main contractors/clients

· Prepare, substantiate and negotiate variation claims.

· Evaluate and manage subcontractor quotations and accounts.

· Monitor project costs, quantities and commercial performance.

· Maintain proper records and supporting documentation for claims and variations.

· Attend site, project or commercial meetings when required.

· Perform other quantity surveying and commercial duties as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.

Experience in the Singapore construction industry is preferred.

Familiarity with progress claims, variations, measurements and final accounts.

Good knowledge of construction drawings and contract documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Auto Cad

Able to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of assigned projects.
