Job Description

Lumica is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor& Drafter with strong AutoCAD drafting skills to support our project,fabrication and installation works.

The ideal candidate must be able to independently conductsite measurements, prepare accurate technical/shop drawings and coordinaterequirements from site through fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, including layouts, elevations, sections, mounting details and support/structural drawings.
  • Conduct site surveys and take accurate site measurements.
  • Prepare and revise shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Review architectural, structural and M&E drawings for clashes and installation constraints.
  • Coordinate drawing and fabrication requirements with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
  • Ensure drawings and proposed installation methods are practical and suitable for actual site conditions.
  • Attend site meetings and resolve drawing or measurement discrepancies when required.
  • Monitor fabrication and installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experienced and capable of producing detailed technical drawings independently.
  • Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
  • Good understanding of site measurements, quantity take-offs and fabrication requirements.
  • Experience with structural steel, metal fabrication, LED displays, digital signage or construction projects is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, practical and able to work independently.
