Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate and optimise treatment and handling processes for existing, new and unknown waste streams.
  • Design and implement resource recovery processes to improve sustainability and value creation.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to identify treatment and recovery opportunities and support pilot trials.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes, including collaboration with external research and technology partners.
  • Develop and improve laboratory capabilities, analytical methods and process development activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and alternative treatment methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and internal documentation requirements.
  • Support the evaluation and development of handling procedures for high-risk and high-value waste streams.
  • Support new business opportunities, new projects and facility planning where required.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and introduce relevant technologies and innovations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in specialty chemical manufacturing/ applications, oil & gas or water treatment
