CP1 Partners is growing, and we are looking for commercially driven individuals to grow with us.
As we continue to expand our executive search business across semiconductors, data centres, AI & advanced technologies, energy & renewables, life sciences, financial institutions and industrial sectors, we are looking to bring on individuals who have the ambition, resilience and commercial mindset to build a successful career in executive search.
We are open to experienced recruiters, but recruitment experience is not essential. We are equally interested in individuals who have built their careers in sales, insurance, financial services, property, business development, account management or other highly commercial environments where success depends on the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, generate business and deliver results.
What will you be doing?
You will work closely with the leadership team at CP1 Partners and gradually develop responsibility across both candidate and client activities, including:
- Identifying and engaging senior executives across targeted industries and markets
- Conducting market mapping and developing an understanding of leadership talent within specific sectors
- Interviewing and assessing candidates for senior management and leadership appointments
- Managing candidates throughout the executive search process
- Building relationships with senior executives, HR leaders and business decision-makers
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing prospective client relationships
- Understanding clients' organisations, business challenges and leadership requirements
- Supporting and eventually managing executive search assignments from origination through to successful placement
Who are we looking for?
The strongest candidates will be naturally commercial and relationship-driven.
You should be someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, approaching people you have never met, building relationships from scratch and creating opportunities through persistence and credibility.
We are particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate:

- Confidence engaging senior professionals and decision-makers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Persistence and resilience when dealing with rejection

- The maturity to represent CP1 Partners professionally with senior clients and candidates
- Curiosity and the ability to quickly understand different businesses and industries
- A willingness to build networks and relationships over the long term rather than simply pursue short-term transactions
Individuals from commission-driven sales environments such as insurance, financial services or property may find the transition particularly relevant. The ability to prospect, develop relationships, handle rejection, understand client needs and ultimately close business is highly transferable to executive search.
Compensation & Career Progression
We are particularly open to individuals who are confident in their own commercial ability and comfortable beginning on a commission-based structure with attractive performance incentives.
For individuals who demonstrate consistent performance and the ability to successfully develop assignments, candidates and client relationships, there will be an opportunity to progress towards a fixed salary plus strong variable incentives, together with increasing responsibility within the firm.

Previous executive search experience is advantageous, but sales ability, hunger, resilience and the right attitude are more important to us than having followed a traditional recruitment career path.
