Job Title: Research Assistant

Department: Temasek Lab

Collaboratively established between the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), TL@SUTD undertakes cutting-edge research on defence and security applications, while developing both technical and human talent capabilities in critical research areas.

Job Scope:

  • Research and development of efficient deep learning models for joint source and channel coding.
  • Development of efficient model training and optimized storage strategies for joint source and channel coding in data storage systems.
  • Implementation of the developed models in PyTorch platform.
  • Working out research papers and patents.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience in deep learning and machine learning.
  • Python, PyTorch programming skills
  • Fluent in both written and oral English
