temper. Wine Room & Lounge is part of Mission Group, a Singapore-based hospitality group with a portfolio of restaurant and bar concepts. We pair a carefully curated wine list with food made for sharing, in a warm, relaxed setting where guests can explore something new with each glass. We were named Runner-Up for Best Newcomer Restaurant at the Restaurant Association of Singapore's Epicurean Star Award 2026.

We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader to run our floor. The role is open to experienced Restaurant Managers and to Assistant Restaurant Managers ready to step up. We will set your final title and package based on your experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations so every service runs smoothly and guests have a memorable experience
  • Build a loyal following by getting to know regulars and making every guest feel welcome
  • Work with the wine and bar team on beverage service, recommendations and menu updates
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen on service flow, menu changes and guest feedback
  • Recruit, train, schedule and develop the service team, and build a positive, high-performing culture
  • Uphold and refine service standards, steps of service and grooming
  • Manage reservations, events and private bookings
  • Monitor sales, labour and beverage costs against budget, and report on performance to management
  • Manage stock, ordering and suppliers for the front of house and the bar
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism
  • Ensure the venue complies with SFA, liquor licensing and workplace safety requirements
  • Run opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, wine bar or similar premium F&B setting. Candidates with 3 or more years will be considered for Restaurant Manager.
  • A strong interest in wine. WSET Level 2 or above is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills and a genuine enjoyment of developing people
  • Confident, personable and calm under pressure
  • Good commercial sense, with experience managing costs and sales targets
  • Experience with reservation and POS systems
  • Able to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays, as is usual in the F&B industry
