Job Summary

You will manage sales transactions, maintain inventory and ensure a clean retail environment while supporting promotions and operational processes in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

  • Process sales and POS payments accurately to ensure smooth customer transactions
  • Perform daily sales reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
  • Replenish merchandise and verify stock levels to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Maintain detailed inventory records to support stock management
  • Keep retail areas and product displays clean and visually appealing to enhance customer experience
  • Execute opening, closing, and shift handover procedures to ensure operational continuity
  • Support promotional activities by preparing displays and assisting customers
  • Report operational issues promptly to enable timely resolution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality to support effective customer interactions
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members clearly
  • Ability to manage sales transactions, stock control, and basic operational record-keeping
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
