Job Description
- Overseeing and coordinate with the Construction Managers and Design Manager to site construction risk matters
- Responsible to implement site management risk and hazard policy and procedures in carrying out the works safely
- Assist in planning the major detail construction methods, sequences and identifying/assessing the works risk and hazard
- Preparation and submission of the safety submissions which shall include CNSS,CRMP, Risks Register and other Safety Submissions.
- Lead team of Hazard Analaysis & Risk Assessement to make the risk register or Safety Health Hazard Log.
- Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of Design for Safety (DfS) principles throughout the building construction project lifecycle.
- Conduct and facilitate DfS risk assessment workshops with the Project Team, Designers, Qualified Persons (QPs), consultants and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify, assess and evaluate design-related risks and construction hazards, and recommend suitable control measures.
- Review design drawings, specifications and construction methodologies to identify potential safety and health risks before and during construction.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for DfS, risk assessments and risk management activities, and support project compliance with applicable Singapore WSH requirements and regulatory standards.
Requirement
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Workplace Safety & Health, or a related discipline.
- Compulsory obtained the Design for Safety (DfS) for PMEs (Professional, Manager and Executive) course's certificate
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in risk management within the construction industry.
- Familiar with Singapore construction safety and WSH(DfS) Regulations
- Must be trained in hazard identification and risk management methodology.
- Good understanding of workplace hazards and construction site activities.
- Experience in facilitating risk assessment discussions and risk management meetings with project teams.
- Relevant RMF certification or training recognised in Singapore will be an advantage.
