The posting

Planning and execution of rotating equipment Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, execution and monitoring of contractor routine and non-routine maintenance activities
  • Lead troubleshooting of rotating equipment issues and provide guidance to Operations
  • Planning and coordination of shutdown maintenance activities of rotating equipment based on local and Global PM requirements, vendor recommendation & industrial best practices
  • Support condition monitoring programs (vibration monitoring, oil analysis etc.)
  • Review risk assessment and maintenance procedures on regular basis
  • Upkeep maintenance records for equipment repairs, overhauls & modifications
  • Identify and update discrepancies in plant equipment records or on field
  • Participate in the root cause analysis (RCA) on process incidents and process inducted rotating equipment failures, recommend corrective actions to permanently eliminate them and follow up on closure of the actions
  • Initiate the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and execute the changes for plant improvement and modification works
  • Facing External / Internal Audit and closing of the actions within given time limit
  • Identifying bad actors in the plant and reliability improvement by implementing short term and long-term solutions
  • Review spare parts availability and initiate BOM update as required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry or Diploma holder with 10 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry preferred
  • Experience in a Gas Plant such as Gasification/SMR/ASU is an advantage
  • Experience in leading overhaul of major rotating equipment including steam turbine, compressors and pumps
  • Good knowledge on design and maintenance of all type of rotating equipment such as steam turbine, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, expanders, multistage pumps etc.
  • Good knowledge on oil analysis & vibration monitoring systems such as Bently Nevada System 1 or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of industrial standards such as API, ASME etc for rotating equipment & associated auxiliary static equipment
