Job Responsibilities

  • Advise the Project Manager and management on safety measures and risk mitigation to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and prepare detailed reports for management and relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate records ofsafety-related incidents and recommend corrective actions to preventrecurrence.
  • Work with the Project Manager to monitorsafety compliance and identify potential hazards.
  • Intervene promptly to stop unsafe actsor operations and protect employees and company assets.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities onWorkplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters and reporting requirements to ensureregulatory compliance.
  • Apply comprehensive Occupational Safetyand Health (OSH) principles and practices to enforce site safety standards.
  • Communicate safety policies andrecommendations effectively to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must hold a Workplace Safety and HealthOfficer (WSHO) licence and an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) licence.
  • At least 3 years of experience as aSafety Officer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on projects in the PROCESS industry, such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or oil and gas.
