Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction of Buildings
  • Position Title: Sales Engineer
  • Working Location: Ubi Avenue
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri: 8.30am – 6pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic + AWS + VB + Sales Incentives
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing customers and develop new sales opportunities in the construction, electrical and M&E sectors.
  • Build relationships with contractors, consultants, developers and other industry partners.
  • Identify projects and follow up on opportunities from tender to award.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations and regular follow-ups.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with technical and project teams on customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support and conduct site visits when required.
  • Monitor projects, quotations and sales opportunities.
  • Maintain customer and project records and provide market feedback to management.

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management or related field.
  • Relevant sales, business development, project or engineering experience in electrical, M&E or construction is preferred.
  • Technical or project candidates interested in moving into sales may also apply.
  • Able to understand basic engineering drawings, specifications and BOQs.
  • Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business opportunities.
  • Able to work independently and coordinate with internal teams.
