The posting

We are an established local engineering company specializing in the distribution and sales of ACMV equipment to industrial and commercial clients across Singapore. With a strong network of suppliers and customers, we are looking for a driven and technically-minded Sales Engineer to join our team.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and technical explanations to clients
  • Prepare and submit quotations, proposals and sales reports
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries and outstanding quotations in a timely manner
  • Attend to sales support and site related matters
  • Visit customers at their work place / office
  • Assist to monitor payments from customers
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts

About you

  • Must possess at least Professional Certificate / NITEC, Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or other relevant qualification
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven track record of new sales development
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in IT tools particularly Microsoft office
  • Must possess class 3 driving license
