Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Semi-conductor
  • Position Title: Sales Engineer / Account Manager (Industrial Equipment & Solutions)
  • Working Location: Kaki Bukit
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + VB
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts, respond promptly to sales enquiries, and ensure suitable equipment and services are provided to meet customer needs.
  • Visit existing customers regularly to maintain relationships and identify new sales opportunities and potential accounts.
  • Provide after-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure effective use of company solutions.
  • Monitor customer credit status to support smooth business operations.
  • Gather and report market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
  • Handle daily sales administration accurately and efficiently.
  • Promote company equipment and solutions by supporting marketing activities and campaigns with Headquarters.
  • Coordinate with customers on order status and delivery schedules to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Support the Head of Sales in achieving annual sales targets.
  • Work with Japan Sales Support and the technical team to prepare RFQs, quotations, and proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Manage section costs effectively to support company profitability.
  • Monitor purchase orders and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
