About Deco Builders

Deco Builders (S) Pte Ltd is a BCA-registered contractor delivering renovation, interior fit-out, addition and alteration (A&A), building and M&E works for residential, commercial and industrial clients across Singapore. We carry out our own electrical works with an in-house Licensed Electrical Worker. We are growing our maintenance business and are looking for a Sales Executive to build a book of recurring maintenance contracts.

About the role

You will win and grow maintenance contracts for landed homes and commercial premises, then work with our Site Supervisor to make sure every scheduled visit is planned, carried out and recorded in our maintenance tracking app. You own the client relationship from the first meeting through to renewal.

Key responsibilities

Sales and business development

- Build a pipeline of landed homeowners and commercial premises owners and operators (offices, shophouses, retail and light industrial units) through referrals, existing clients, property agents, facility managers and direct outreach

- Visit premises with the Site Supervisor to assess their condition and maintenance needs

- Prepare proposals and quotations using company templates and the price list; present, negotiate and close

- Meet monthly targets for new maintenance contracts

- Manage renewals before expiry, and identify additional works (repairs, upgrades, electrical, renovation) for our project team

- Record every lead, meeting, proposal and outcome in the company CRM

Scheduling and service coordination

- Coordinate with the Site Supervisor to schedule maintenance visits according to each contract

- Keep the maintenance tracking app up to date: contract details, visit schedule, service records, photos and client acknowledgement

- Be the client's main contact: confirm appointments, give updates, handle feedback and escalate issues promptly

- Track overdue or missed visits and follow up until they are closed

- Work with the Admin team on invoicing and payment follow-up

Reporting and compliance

- Submit a weekly pipeline and activity report and attend the weekly sales review

- Follow company Workplace Safety and Health rules and wear the required PPE during site visits

- Handle client personal data in line with the PDPA

Requirements

- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably selling services such as building maintenance, M&E, air-conditioning servicing, facility management, renovation, pest control or property services

- Track record of meeting sales targets on a commission-based package

- Valid Class 3 driving licence, and comfortable driving islandwide every day

- Good spoken and written English; able to write clear proposals and client messages

- Comfortable with smartphone apps, CRM, WhatsApp Business and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

- Organised, with reliable follow-up; able to plan and manage your own schedule

Good to have

- Basic knowledge of building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, roofing, waterproofing and painting

- An existing network of landed homeowners, property agents, facility managers or managing agents

- Ability to speak Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or other languages, to serve clients who prefer them

- Diploma or Nitec in building services, engineering, facilities management or business

- WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (CSOC); we can sponsor this if you do not hold it

What we offer

- Basic salary of S$2,700 to S$3,200 per month, depending on experience

- Uncapped monthly commission on cash collected, with a higher rate once you pass your monthly target, plus commission on renewals, additional works and project referrals

- 5-day work week (Monday to Friday)

- Company vehicle provided, OR a S$500 monthly vehicle allowance plus fuel claims of up to S$400 per month (with receipts) if you use your own vehicle. A GPS tracker is required in the vehicle used for work

- Training on our services, price list, CRM and maintenance tracking app

- Annual leave, medical and hospitalisation leave, and CPF contributions

Based at our Toa Payoh office, with daily islandwide client visits.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
