The posting

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to oversee sales performance and lead the retail sales function across our beauty business. The role will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing team performance, strengthening revenue growth, and supporting the achievement of the company’s business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, plans and initiatives to achieve business, revenue and profitability objectives, including responsibility for overall sales performance and assigned targets.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, including setting performance expectations, monitoring KPIs and productivity, conducting performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, training and supporting team development and succession planning.
  • Lead sales planning, forecasting and performance analysis, reviewing sales data, customer trends, product performance and market developments to identify gaps, improve productivity and uncover new revenue opportunities.
  • Drive customer retention and business growth by developing initiatives to increase repeat business and sales conversion, managing key customer relationships, and supporting high-value, VIP and escalated customer matters where required.
  • Plan and evaluate sales campaigns, promotions and incentive program, working closely with Marketing, Operations and Beauty/Spa teams to align commercial activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor market and operational factors including competitor activities, industry trends, customer preferences, stock planning, product availability and inventory requirements, and recommend improvements to Management.
  • Provide strategic reporting and operational support to Management, including sales reports, forecasts and business recommendations; review sales processes, ensure compliance with company policies and service standards, and support new outlet, product, service and business expansion initiatives. Requirements
  • 8–10 years of relevant sales experience, with substantial experience in a sales management or senior retail sales leadership role.
  • Experience in beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industry will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales planning, target management, forecasting and performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing sales teams.
  • Strong commercial understanding with the ability to analyse sales performance and translate data into business actions.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and people-management skills.
  • Strong business development and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Good understanding of retail sales operations, customer retention and revenue growth strategies.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Singapore retail or consumer-facing business experience will be an advantage.
