Our client is a leading international product leader in the automotive industry. With a global presence in over 80 countries worldwide, they are rapidly expanding as they advance into the dynamic landscape of the automotive industry. Their Singapore office and manufacturing plant has been established for more than 25 years and they are now seeking a qualified SAP Lead to join their team!

Work location: Ang Mo Kio

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide SAP technical and functional support, ensuring timely identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of application issues.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and project implementation to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external customer EDI connections for order and forecast transmission.
  • Act as the plant lead for the SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring effective system utilization and alignment with warehouse operations.
  • Lead plant-level supplier EDI certification activities to ensure compliance with technical and business requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to communicate forecast requirements, provide training, and ensure adherence to business processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and relevant stakeholders to establish, test, and maintain EDI connections.
  • Train internal personnel on new SAP implementations, system enhancements, and updated business processes.
  • Serve as the plant's SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing functional guidance and support to ensure effective system usage.
  • Perform business process mapping and integration to improve operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support Production Control and Logistics (PC&L) business process audits, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP system performance, business process efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT or equivalent field
  • At least 5 - 8 years' of SAP MM and SD module experience
  • Strong knowledge in EDIFACT standard
  • Experience with implementation of improvement initiatives
