The posting

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team. You will work with us to design, implement and deliver mission-critical web and mobile applications for our clients, including Singapore Government agencies and multinational enterprises. Our applications are central to the needs of our clients and their users, so they must be robust, secure and future proof. We would like to tap on your experience, technical knowledge and resourcefulness to deliver world-class solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the requirements and delivery track of large-scale digital platforms, from discovery through to go-live and support
  • Work as a key member of the project management team to drive the project forward and ensure smooth and successful delivery
  • Lead and align cross-functional teams (development, QA, DevOps, design) of up to 20+ members, making prioritisation and scope decisions within regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders (IT teams and system owners) and internal stakeholders (project management, development and DevOps teams)
  • Work closely with Solution Architects to understand and document technical requirements across cloud architecture, DevSecOps and CI/CD
  • Analyse and synthesise business requirements, build business cases, and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable outcomes for engineering teams
  • Define product roadmaps, manage and prioritise the product backlog, and plan releases in an Agile environment
  • Develop user stories, functional and technical specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Create wireframes and prototypes (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD) to validate requirements with users
  • Analyse the impact of change requests, and recommend solutions that keep up with changing business needs
  • Coordinate technical deliverables with the development and DevOps teams, such as:Architecture diagrams, Solution design and Technical Specifications, Performance and load testing
  • Plan and run User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage bug triage with the delivery team
  • Track dependencies and the critical path, and keep the technical track aligned with the overall project timeline
  • Produce clear, repeatable progress and status reports for different stakeholders
  • Mentor junior business analysts

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in software or digital platform delivery
  • Experience delivering projects for government or regulated environments
  • Has been through the full software development lifecycle using Agile / Scrum
  • Good technical understanding of web, mobile and cloud-based applications, enough to work closely with architects and developers
  • Strong skills in requirements definition, backlog prioritisation and stakeholder management
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence and prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
  • Excellent analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Meticulous, with excellent documentation skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Good to have:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile / project management certification
  • Experience in an IT consultancy or software services firm
  • Exposure to cloud architecture, database design or CI/CD pipelines
