Senior Credit Reviewer – Corporate Banking

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Reviewer to join a well-established bank, responsible for independently assessing corporate credit proposals and ensuring sound credit risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess corporate credit proposals, including new facilities, renewals, amendments and annual reviews.
  • Evaluate borrowers’ financial performance, cash flows, repayment capacity, industry outlook and overall creditworthiness.
  • Independently challenge credit assumptions, facility structures and recommendations, identifying key risks and mitigating factors.
  • Monitor portfolio quality and early warning indicators, recommending appropriate risk-mitigation measures.
  • Ensure credit assessments comply with the Bank’s credit policies, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related discipline.
  • At least 20 years of corporate banking credit experience, ideally in credit review, credit risk, credit analysis or approval.
  • Strong financial and cash-flow analysis skills with experience assessing corporate borrowers and lending facilities.
  • Good understanding of corporate lending products, facility structures, collateral and credit documentation.
  • Strong credit judgment, analytical and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to independently challenge credit proposals.
