Job Summary
Serve as an Electrical System Engineer responsible for on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of electrical systems for high-tech manufacturing and Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Installation & Supervision Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Engineering Documentation Read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and related engineering documents.
- Interface Coordination Coordinate electrical works with construction, equipment installation, facilities, and other relevant disciplines to meet project schedules.
- Power System Installation Supervise installation of HV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
- Testing & Commissioning Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities, including coordination with vendors and utility providers.
- Site & Technical Coordination Identify site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, and system interfaces, and support corrective actions.
- Inspection & Handover Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Project Coordination Coordinate with Clients, contractors, vendors, authorities, and relevant disciplines throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ site experience in semiconductor FABs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction.
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical installation supervision and site coordination.
- Experience with HV/LV systems, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection preferred.
- Familiar with electrical drawings, construction sequencing, subcontractor management, testing, and commissioning.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with Clients, contractors, vendors, and authorities.
- Able to work independently in a site-based and shift-based environment.
- Relevant qualifications and licenses must comply with applicable local regulations.
Working Location: Woodlands North, Singapore Employment Type: Contract (36 months)
