About the Role

Provide technical support to customers during product development, ensuring smooth qualification and timely mass production while fostering strong customer relationships and delivering product insights.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver front-line technical support to customers during product development to resolve issues and facilitate progress
  • Gather and document detailed technical requirements and specifications from customers to guide product development
  • Communicate technical issues clearly and provide detailed explanations to the HQ Application team for resolution
  • Conduct regular customer visits to build and strengthen long-term relationships and trust
  • Assist customers throughout product qualification phases to ensure adherence to development schedules until mass production (MP)
  • Present pre-sales technical information on product strategies, roadmaps, features, industry trends, and competitive positioning to customers
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform Marketing on design requirements, product improvements, and new product opportunities
  • Demonstrate and explain new products to customers to support adoption and understanding
  • Perform tests and evaluations for display product qualification to verify product performance and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry
  • Practical field experience or hands-on knowledge in multi-disciplinary system design and development, including electrical, electronics, computerized, and mechanical systems
  • Field experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) in the notebook display industry
  • Understanding of the display ecosystem in the ASEAN and India regions
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills to understand client needs and collaborate on delivering valuable solutions
