The posting

Responsibilities

Invoice Processing & Verification

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring timely recording in the accounting system.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders, goods receipt records and other supporting documentation, where applicable
  • Perform two-way and three-way matching to ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice processing.
  • Check invoice details, including vendor information, amounts, GST treatment, payment terms and appropriate accounting codes.
  • Follow up with relevant departments to obtain missing documentation, approvals and clarifications to facilitate timely invoice processing.
  • Ensure invoices are processed within established turnaround times and in accordance with payment schedules.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all invoices processed.

Exception Processing

  • Review and resolve invoice exceptions, discrepancies and processing errors.
  • Investigate unmatched invoices, purchase orders and goods receipt discrepancies.
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve outstanding issues and facilitate invoice processing.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate parties for timely resolution.

Accounts Payable Operations

  • Support payment preparation and processing activities to ensure timely settlement of supplier invoices.
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
  • Monitor aged payables, outstanding invoices and unprocessed transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations and accruals where required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years relevant experience in Accounts Payable operations.
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing and vendor management.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
