Job Summary
Lead and deliver large-scale IT projects in Banking/Financial Services, managing multi-vendor teams and budgets up to USD 20M+. Drive end-to-end project delivery, financial management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale enterprise IT projects/programmes with budgets of USD 10 to 20M+ and multiple technology workstreams to achieve project goals.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery including requirements gathering, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, development, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production rollout.
- Oversee 50+ technical resources and multi-vendor teams by conducting demand-supply planning, capacity management, and resource forecasting to optimize team performance.
- Implement PMO governance by maintaining RAID logs, managing risks, issues, dependencies, mitigation plans, project controls, audit, and compliance activities.
- Manage project financials through budget forecasting, burn rate monitoring, cost optimization, variance analysis, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal discipline.
- Conduct vendor and commercial management including drafting and managing SOWs, SLAs, contracts, vendor negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Apply strong knowledge of Banking IT security, risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal/external technology audits to maintain project integrity.
- Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies with tools such as Jira/Kanban for sprint governance, project planning, and delivery tracking to ensure timely project execution.
- Present project status, financials, risks, and delivery performance to Senior Management, Steering Committees, CIO/CTO-level stakeholders, and QBR forums to support informed decision-making.
- Use MS Project, Jira, SharePoint/Confluence, and enterprise project/financial management tools like Clarity or equivalents to facilitate project tracking and reporting.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of IT Project Management experience, specifically in Banking/Financial Services technology projects.
