Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Set the multi-year direction for four portfolios (Global Academy, Consultancy, Alliances, Mission), and turn the hospital's clinical and academic strengths into offerings that overseas health systems can use.
  • Global Academy (education): Oversee training, leadership and fellowship programmes for international partners, and make sure they are high quality and on-brand.
  • Global Consultancy: Lead the consultancy strategy and oversee engagements with overseas hospitals, health systems and ministries. Keep them ethical, outcomes-driven and financially sustainable, with proper control over contracts, fees and risk.
  • Alliances: Build and manage partnerships with international hospitals, universities, health authorities and multilateral bodies, so each delivers clear long-term value to the hospital.
  • Global Mission and outreach: Lead community health missions and capability-transfer programmes in the region, balancing humanitarian goals with sustainability, staff welfare and the hospital's reputation.
  • Governance and risk: Make sure all global activity follows the hospital/ Group rules (agreements, fees, conflicts of interest, overseas travel). Protect the hospital's reputation across jurisdictions and update senior management regularly.
  • Finance and operations: Own budgets, revenue, cost control and team resourcing across the four portfolios.
  • Senior engagement: Represent the hospital with international partners and governments, and help the CEO and leadership shape the hospital's global positioning.

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Senior leadership experience in healthcare, academic medicine, health systems or international programmes
  • Track record in international partnerships, education, consultancy or system-wide initiatives
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to run complex multi-country initiatives
  • High governance acumen (risk, compliance, reputation)

Desirable

  • Experience with overseas hospitals, ministries of health or multilateral partners
  • Familiarity with healthcare education, leadership development or consulting models
  • Exposure to global health, capacity-building or mission programmes
