The posting

If you know that Living assets are driven by residents and operations as much as by bricks and mortar, we'd like to hear from you.

We're growing our Living portfolio, including co-living, and we're looking for someone to help shape what it becomes. Reporting to the COO, you'll work across real estate and operating platform opportunities and own the full life of each investment. That means finding deals, making the case for them, getting them done and then making the assets perform. Your recommendations go directly to management, the Investment Committee and EXCO.

What you'll do

  • Find and land Living and co-living opportunities through owners, brokers, advisers, operators and capital partners
  • Underwrite, value and model deals, and turn the numbers into clear investment papers and recommendations
  • Lead due diligence and execution, and negotiate acquisitions, leases, management agreements, JVs and partnerships
  • Improve asset performance through asset enhancement and better operations, for residents and investors
  • Track portfolio performance, budgets, forecasts and valuations, and help decide when to hold, reinvest or sell

What you'll bring

  • A degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
  • 8+ years in real estate investment, asset management or corporate finance
  • Strong modelling, valuation, due diligence and transaction experience
  • Living, co-living, hospitality or operating real estate experience is a strong advantage
  • Sound commercial judgement and the confidence to back your calls
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder skills, and comfort handling several workstreams at once
