Job Description
- Developing treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goals in Inpatient setting.
- Assessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independence.
- To provide activities of daily living (ADL) training for the inpatients.
- Liaising with doctors, family members, caregivers and other professionals and keeping them updated
- To keep abreast with advances in the profession and to contribute to the development of the department
- Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
- Conduct group therapy
Requirements:
- Recognised Bachelor's Degree Occupational Therapy
- Enjoy working with elderly patients, especially patients with neurological and musculoskeletal problems
- Pleasant and cheerful disposition
- Possess valid practising certificate with AHPC or have passed the Qualifying Examination by NYP
- Dynamic personality, is proactive, customer oriented, and with good public relation and communication skills
- Service mind-set, result-oriented and team player
