Elion Solutions seeking a Security by Design Engineer to enhance security governance workflows, automate controls, and implement AI-driven security correlation capabilities. You will strengthen infrastructure change governance, improve audit compliance, and operationalize Security by Design processes.
Responsibilities
Security Engineering & Development
- Enhance ARC and SRP workflows to resolve audit findings and meet security control requirements
- Design and implement AI-driven correlation across multiple security data sources to improve threat detection
- Develop dashboards, metrics, reports, and monitoring tools to support security operations
- Support system integration, testing, deployment, and produce technical documentation for security solutions
Operational Support
- Provide application and technical support for security solutions to ensure operational stability
- Troubleshoot issues in workflows, dashboards, and system integrations to maintain service quality
- Support user onboarding, training, and respond to operational queries to enhance user adoption
- Perform defect fixes and implement continuous improvements to security workflows and tools
Governance & Compliance
- Operationalize Security by Design frameworks and workflows to embed security in development processes
- Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
- Track control effectiveness and manage audit remediation activities to improve security posture
- Support audit reviews and evidence collection to facilitate regulatory compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Application Security and Security by Design concepts to guide secure development practices
- Workflow automation and process engineering to streamline security controls
- AI/ML-enabled analytics and correlation technologies for advanced security monitoring
- Dashboarding and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Splunk to visualize security data
- Jira, ServiceNow, and workflow management platforms to manage security tasks and incidents
- Security governance, risk, and compliance knowledge to align with regulatory requirements
- Strong stakeholder communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, Security+ or equivalent certifications demonstrating security expertise
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments to understand industry-specific risks
- Familiarity with infrastructure security controls and change management processes to support governance
