Key Responsibilities

  • Billing & CRM System Development: Architect, develop, and maintain core components for large-scale enterprise telecom billing platforms (such as Ericsson BSCS R17/EB25 and Whalecloud ZSmart) and CRM suites (Salesforce, Siebel).
  • Scripting & Automation: Write robust Python scripts, Unix/Linux shell scripts, and Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions for data utilities, batch jobs, bulk data operations, and automated invoice/XML generation.
  • Test Automation & CI/CD: Build, scale, and maintain automated regression test suites using Playwright and Pytest integrated directly into CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated quality validation on every code merge.
  • System Integration & Middleware: Design, test, and troubleshoot complex API integrations across REST and SOAP protocols using tools like Postman and SoapUI, interfacing with middleware platforms such as OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Axway, and EAI.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Deploy, monitor, and manage applications and databases across AWS (EC2, Amazon RDS, Amazon Linux) and Kubernetes environments.
  • End-to-End Debugging: Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve complex technical defects spanning across application code, relational databases, middleware, and external interface boundaries.
  • Agile Leadership & Collaboration: Lead development and QA sub-teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies, participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, product vendors, and enterprise clients.

Technical Competencies & Qualifications

  • Core Languages: Python, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn), XML, JSON.
  • Automation & Quality: Playwright, Pytest, keyword-driven and data-driven testing frameworks, test data generators.
  • Databases: Oracle Database, Amazon RDS, MS SQL Server (advanced querying, tuning, stored procedures, multi-table joins).
  • APIs & Integration: REST, SOAP/WSDL, Postman, SoapUI, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Axway, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, RDS, Amazon Linux), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline configuration, batch job scheduling.
  • Domain Platforms: Ericsson BSCS (R17, EB25), Whalecloud ZSmart BSS/OSS, Siebel CRM, Salesforce (SFDC), CloudSense CPQ, SAP, RTQM.
  • Domain Knowledge: Telecom billing, payments, rating & charging, GL codes, orchestration, order management, provisioning frameworks.
  • Methodologies & Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credentials preferred; deep experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
