Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java Backend) to lead and contribute to the architecture, design, and development of our core backend systems, distributed services, and cloud-based applications. You will play a crucial role in building high-concurrency, transaction-intensive platforms that support our international products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Development: Design and deliver high-concurrency, transaction-intensive, and globally distributed backend systems.
  • Core Systems Engineering: Build and maintain scalable backend services including payment integration layers, multi-wallet accounting systems, real-time communication/matching engines, and centralized configuration platforms.
  • Cloud & Data Management: Manage cloud-based applications and data platforms using AWS (S3, Amazon Athena) and Alibaba Cloud, building efficient data ingestion pipelines and operational analytics platforms.
  • Optimization & Scalability: Apply distributed locks, load balancing and service degradation to handle high-volume user transactions and high-concurrency scenarios.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Drive full-lifecycle development from architecture design and backend coding to third-party service integration, production deployment, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in Java backend development, distributed systems, and system architecture.
  • Technical Stack: Strong expertise in the Spring / Spring Cloud ecosystem, Redis, Kafka, RocketMQ and MySQL. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record in designing payment gateways, billing engines, user account authentication services, wallet systems, and real-time interactive platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, experience working on international/multi-country product environments, and ability to lead end-to-end technical delivery.
