Metta Home provides long-term residential and day care services for adults (18–55 years old) with intellectual disabilities. Our multi-disciplinary team supports their health, well-being, and social integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee safe, person-centred nursing care, including assessments, care planning, medication safety and clinical monitoring.
- Coordinate care with doctors, therapists, hospitals and multidisciplinary teams, including follow-up on admissions and appointments.
- Conduct regular clinical walkabouts to monitor care standards, hygiene, infection control, safety and compliance with SOPs and guidelines.
- Identify care gaps, incidents and training needs; implement corrective actions and support clinical governance.
- Supervise, coach and develop nursing and care staff, including onboarding, competency assessments and in-service training.
- Support staff rostering, manpower deployment, workflow optimisation and staff meetings.
- Lead and coordinate healthcare projects, including vaccinations, health screenings, audits, surveys and research activities.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, incident reports, competency records and other regulatory documentation.
- Support infection control activities, including competency assessments and mask fit testing.
- Manage medical supplies, inventory, equipment maintenance and monthly nursing petty cash submissions.
- Support the review and improvement of nursing SOPs, processes and digital reporting systems.
- Act as Officer-in-Charge and assume Assistant Manager duties when required.
- Participate in emergency drills and response activities, and perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience.
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Strong clinical, communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience in care coordination, staff supervision and clinical documentation will be an advantage.
📍 Work Location: Woodlands 🕒 Working Hours: 5-day rotating work week, 2 shift (AM shift: 7am - 3pm, PM shift: 1pm -9pm).
