The posting

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide Nurse Aides, Health Attendants and other care support staff in delivering quality care.
  • Oversee clients’ healthcare and medical needs, monitoring their well-being and progress.
  • Ensure appropriate care standards and procedures are maintained.
  • Support clients during daily activities and mealtimes where required.
  • Communicate professionally with clients’ families and caregivers, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
  • Provide training and guidance to care staff to support effective care delivery.
  • Prepare duty rosters and assist in developing care guidelines where assigned.
  • Recommend and support programmes to enhance clients’ care, well-being and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid practising certificate.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience in a nursing home or hospital ward.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Responsible, meticulous and service-oriented, with a strong commitment to client care.

Additional Information:

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Location: Woodlands
  • Working Hours: 5-day rotating work week, on a 2-shift schedule AM Shift: 7:00am–3:00pm PM Shift: 1:00pm–9:00pm
  • Positions Available: 1 Senior Staff Nurse and 2 Staff Nurses
