The Social Media and Digital Communications Officer/Executive is responsible for managing SPCA Singapore’s social media content and online communications to ensure a strong, engaging, and consistent digital presence. He/she will work closely with the Head of Community Engagement to develop a strong digital presence that enhances SPCA’s brand and engagement.
- Managing social media accounts and website content and enquiries.
- Answering enquiries via emails and social media platforms.
- Developing content strategies to better engage new audiences through social media.
- Identifying new trends and planning digital campaigns to build greater awareness for SPCA’s work through online platforms.
- Creating content by working closely with other departments and partners.
- Photo taking and design work for social media content.
- Managing of communications volunteers.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Provide support for ad-hoc events and SPCA-led initiatives as required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Communications/Marketing, working knowledge in Graphic Design or other related fields
- At least 2 years in a similar position
- Able to work independently and in teams, meticulous and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Passion for animal welfare
- Experience working with animals or in the animal welfare sector is an advantage but not required.
