The posting
Social Media Content Writer
You will write the words behind our clients' brands: social captions, campaign copy, websites, EDMs and short-form video scripts. Our accounts span from Healthcare, B2B and FMCGs, so you will have to switch between brand voices often. You will work closely with our designers and the social media team to turn briefs into copy that sounds like the brand and gets a response.
What you'll do
- Write clear, on-brand copy for social posts, ads and campaign materials
- Script short-form video for Reels with strong hooks and captions that suit each platform
- Develop content ideas and angles for monthly content calendars with the social media team
- Turn client briefs and brand guidelines into a consistent tone of voice across every channel
- Research each client's industry, audience and competitors so the copy is accurate and relevant
- Edit and proofread your own work and your teammates' work before it goes to the client
- Apply basic SEO practice to web and long-form content: keywords, headings and meta descriptions
- Work with designers and video editors so copy and visuals are developed together
- Contribute copy and concepts to new business pitches and proposals
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to speed up research and first drafts, while keeping final copy original, accurate and in the brand's voice
- Manage revisions and deadlines across several client accounts at once
- Curate KOLs to meet brief and produce weekly report for client briefing.
