The Opportunity: Build Our Voice from Zero
KGI is building a next-generation retail futures trading platform for Asian markets, and we need someone to help grow our brand presence. We are looking for a Social Media & KOL Intern with a strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content to help build our brand presence from 0 to 1. You will run our social channels, help manage our KOL and affiliate partners, and work directly with the marketing lead. Your goal is simple: make KGI the name traders see, trust, and talk about.
The Role: What You’ll Do
· Own the Feed: Plan, write, and schedule content across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Telegram. Platform-native, never copy-paste. From market explainers to product updates, every post should educate, engage, or convert.
· Creative Collaborator: Brief the designer, align with the marketing lead, and provide input on content and visuals to ensure they resonate with the target audience. Able to contribute ideas on both visual presentation and content effectiveness.
· Community Builder: Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions and respond promptly and professionally. Spot trending topics and market developments in real time and turn them into timely content opportunities.
· KOL & Affiliate Coordinator: Help identify and evaluate KOLs and affiliates whose audiences align with ours. Coordinate outreach, briefs, posting schedules, and deliverables, and keep every partner on track from initial engagement to campaign completion.
· Partner Enabler: Prepare content kits, key messages, and product FAQs that help partners communicate about our platform accurately. Route partner content through compliance review before publication, because in a regulated business, accuracy matters.
· Numbers Person: Track reach, engagement, follower growth, and partner performance metrics such as clicks, sign-ups, and conversions by KOL and affiliate. Report what's working, identify improvement opportunities, and keep the content calendar running on schedule.
Who You Are
· Social Media Savvy: Good understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement across different channels. Able to assess creator and influencer partnerships based on relevance, engagement, and brand fit.
· A Clean, Confident Writer: Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely in English. Captions, briefs, and partner communications are well-written and professional.
· Strong Communicator: Able to communicate professionally with creators, influencers, and external partners and maintain positive working relationships.
· Organised and Reliable: Able to manage deadlines, posting schedules, and partner deliverables effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
· The Essentials:
- Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related discipline.
- Familiar with social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite.
- Interest in financial markets, trading, or fintech would be advantageous.
Why KGI?
· Real Work, Day One: Your work ships from the start. No busywork, no practice exercises.
· A Ground-Floor Seat: Gain hands-on experience building a fintech brand and digital product from the ground up.
· Full-Funnel Exposure: Gain exposure to social media, influencer partnerships, performance marketing, and product development in a regulated fintech environment.
· Build, Don’t Maintain: Be part of building something real, not maintaining what already exists.
