The posting

Our client is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. The role involves building frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native solutions while contributing to DevOps, CI/CD automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable system components.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, support deployments, and ensure application reliability.
  • Perform code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of software development experience; strong fresh graduates may also be considered.
  • Experience with technologies such as Angular, React, Next.js, Java, C#, or similar development frameworks.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, REST APIs, microservices, and secure coding practices.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps concepts.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or DevSecOps tools is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
