The posting

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the mechanical engineering and design phases for major data center builds, focusing heavily on chilled water setups and advanced HVAC systems.
  • Take ownership of crucial technical documentation by meticulously preparing, reviewing, and finalizing blueprints, project reports, and specifications.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison, collaborating closely with clients, external contractors, and multidisciplinary internal teams to seamlessly deliver project objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by conducting comprehensive design reviews, technical evaluations, and feasibility studies.
  • Champion quality assurance by ensuring all project phases strictly adhere to current safety, sustainability, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience, which must include at least 3 years specifically dedicated to data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial M&E projects. (Note: We recognize the original document noted "electrical engineering experience" for this mechanical role; this has been adapted to reflect the core mechanical/M&E requirements of the position).
  • Industry Background: Mandatory previous experience working within an engineering consultancy environment.
  • Technical Tools: Expert-level proficiency using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bonus Skills: Hands-on knowledge of 3D modeling or advanced mechanical design software, such as Revit or CFD tools, is highly advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: You are a detail-oriented problem solver who communicates effectively and thrives in a fast-paced, consultancy-driven setting.
