In this capacity, you represent the NAND engineering team, engaging with strategic partners such as business units, quality assurance, fabrication, testing, and supply chain to ensure a competitive time-to-market for the newest technology nodes, from silicon to system. This role is highly impactful, offering broad scope and high visibility. It presents an opportunity to contribute to Micron’s next generation of technology and product enablement alongside a dedicated and highly skilled cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and align NAND requirements with business units and SSD development leads, transforming these requirements into qualification specs that guide NAND development
  • Develop AI workflow solutions to automate and augment data extraction and analysis workflows in support of NAND specification requirements
  • Integrate NAND Product Engineering with Technology Development and Design Engineering teams to enable NAND memory integration into SSD systems and end‑customer applications
  • Collaborate closely within Product Engineering and alongside Business Units, Supply Chain Planning, Silicon Fabrication, Component Assembly, and Test teams to facilitate seamless engineering execution
  • Create AI‑embedded workflows and a NAND Program Management system to support, track, and communicate priorities and actions to deliver on‑time product qualifications
  • Represent Product Engineering in product development reviews, lead cross‑functional meetings, and collaborate on plans and changes required to deliver leadership NAND component solutions
  • Organize NAND capability data reviews to advance system development progress toward eventual customer product qualification sample delivery
  • Engage in complex problem solving for challenges arising from NAND‑system interactions, and guide the team toward issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • PhD with ≥2 years, or Master’s degree with ≥5 years, or Bachelor’s degree with ≥7 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in semiconductor NAND product development.
  • Proven track record of developing agentic solutions using industry‑standard models and development platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot)
  • Highly self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual eager to work in a diverse, global cross‑functional engineering environment with a focus on development
  • Exhibits a growth mindset and possesses outstanding problem‑solving abilities. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential
  • Desire to work on technical projects in collaboration with cross‑functional engineering teams in a product development environment
  • Working knowledge of NAND design/device, validation, test flows, reliability, and failure analysis, with a desire to expand knowledge into system product enablement, media management algorithm, and system architecture

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
