Storekeeper (Warehouse & Logistics)
Job Description
We are a premier global maritime and electronic equipment solutions provider. As our exclusive recruitment partner, we are seeking a meticulous and reliable Storekeeper to join our Warehouse & Logistics team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, managing the preparation of goods for local customer delivery and international export, and safely handling all incoming shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Logistics & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, label, and inspect all outgoing goods to ensure they are in premium condition before delivery or export. Verify all outgoing item accuracy against orders.
- Delivery Documentation: Ensure all delivered items and Delivery Orders (DO) are properly acknowledged with the recipient's official company stamp after delivery verification.
- Inbound Management: Unload cargo (including shipping containers), inspect incoming goods, and check for physical or external damages on packaging and labels before receiving items from vendors or customers.
- Inventory Control & Systems: Perform periodic monthly stock takes. Ensure all inventory movements within the warehouse are accurately updated using Bin Transfers in the NetSuite System.
- Operations & Safety: Assist with daily delivery planning and the arrangement of transportation logistics. Maintain full responsibility for the safety, security, and housekeeping of the warehouse premises.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Maintain organized storage areas for customer/forwarder self-collections and handle other ad-hoc operational tasks assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Class 3 or Class 4 Driving License.
- Education: Minimum ITE / NTC Certificate in Business, Office Skills, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Candidates with at least 3 years of related warehouse/logistics experience are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience using ERP/WMS systems (specifically NetSuite) is highly advantageous.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining safe workplace security and housekeeping standards.
