Help Shape a New Chapter in Education

At House on the Hill, we believe education is not simply about what children learn, but about who they become.

We are establishing a new Montessori-inspired student care and educational programme for primary school children aged 7–12.

Inspired by the philosophy of 知行合一 and Montessori’s approach to education for life, our programme integrates Chinese language immersion, literary appreciation, cultural heritage, independence, creativity and character development.

We are looking for passionate educators to join our founding team and help build an inspiring environment where children grow into confident thinkers, responsible individuals and lifelong learners.

Position: Student Care Educator

We are looking for caring, thoughtful and creative educators who enjoy supporting primary school children through meaningful daily experiences.

At 知行学苑, educators are more than supervisors. They are guides who help children develop independence, confidence, responsibility and a genuine interest in learning.

Key Responsibilities

* Create a safe, respectful and engaging after-school environment.

* Guide children in homework routines, time management and independent learning habits.

* Support children’s social, emotional and character development.

* Facilitate hands-on projects, creative exploration and practical life experiences.

* Encourage independent thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and responsibility.

* Observe children’s interests, strengths and developmental needs.

* Support 华文 immersion and cultural activities alongside programme specialists.

* Maintain positive communication with families and colleagues.

* Participate in school holiday programmes and centre activities.

Who We Are Looking For

* Relevant experience or qualifications in student care, primary education, early childhood education or related fields.

* Genuine respect for children and an understanding of their developmental needs.

* Patience, empathy, creativity and strong communication skills.

* Interest in Montessori principles and education for life.

* Ability to guide children towards independence rather than doing everything for them.

* A positive, responsible and collaborative attitude.

* Willingness to learn and contribute to a developing educational programme.

We value educators who can recognize children’s potential, inspire curiosity and guide them towards becoming capable and responsible individuals.

WHY JOIN

Be Part of a Founding Educational Team

Joining 知行学苑 offers the opportunity to help establish a new educational programme under House on the Hill.

You will contribute to an approach that connects Chinese cultural heritage, Montessori-inspired development and the essential human capabilities children need for the future.

We aim to build a professional environment that values:

Educational Purpose - A shared commitment to meaningful, holistic child development.

Professional Growth - Opportunities for learning, reflection and programme development.

Creativity & Collaboration - A culture that welcomes ideas, initiative and teamwork.

Respect & Responsibility - A supportive community where educators and children are valued.

Our Educational Belief - Children need strong roots to understand where they come from, and the independence and courage to discover where they can go.

At 知行学苑, we believe education should cultivate both.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
