📢 Student Care Officer x1

💰 Salary: $2,800–$3,200/month 📅 Contract Duration: 9 months + 10 days 🗓️ Contract Period: January 2027 – October 2027 ⏰ Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch break 📆 Working Days: Monday–Friday 🕐 Additional Hours: One day per week may extend to 5:30pm for after-school engagement activities 🌿 School Holiday Work: Selected working days may be required during the June school holidays 🚫 No Service: Weekends, gazetted public holidays, and November & December Working hours may vary according to operational requirements.

🎓 Job Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or certification in Youth Work or related fields is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with youths in a school, social service or community setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build rapport and trust with students.
  • Empathetic, resilient and able to work with students with diverse needs.

📋 Job Responsibilities

  • Engage, befriend and mentor students with emotional, social or well-being needs.
  • Monitor and track the progress of identified students.
  • Plan and supervise activities at the Student Engagement Centre.
  • Support and facilitate after-school engagement programmes.
  • Liaise with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and participation.
  • Work with community partners to connect students with suitable programmes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress and incidents.
  • Follow safeguarding, emergency and confidentiality protocols.
  • Perform other student-related duties as assigned.
