Job Description – Manufacturing Supervisor

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
  2. Monitor production schedules, workflow and manpower allocation to meet production targets.
  3. Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with food safety and hygiene requirements.
  4. Monitor the operation of production equipment and ensure proper handling, cleaning and maintenance.
  5. Supervise production workers, assign duties and provide on-the-job training when necessary.
  6. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies.
  7. Monitor raw materials, ingredients and packaging materials to minimise wastage and ensure sufficient stock for production.
  8. Maintain accurate production records, including output, material usage, quality checks and manpower attendance.
  9. Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  10. Report production progress, quality issues and operational matters to management.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or food production operations.
  2. Experience in supervising production workers and coordinating daily manufacturing activities.
  3. Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and quality control procedures.
  4. Ability to plan production schedules, allocate manpower and monitor production output.
  5. Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  6. Able to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  7. Responsible, organised and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
