The posting

Job Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling: Schedule printing and post-press processes (lamination, die-cutting, binding, hot stamping) based on orders; assign work orders and set delivery dates; balance machine workloads and prioritize urgent orders.

On-site Production Monitoring: Oversee print quality, color, registration, and ink density; verify artwork, proofs, and dimensions; perform first-article inspections to prevent batch errors and scrap.

Progress Control: Track the progress of each process, adjust plans promptly if delays arise, and ensure on-time delivery.

Cost Control: Manage consumption of paper, ink, and auxiliary materials; minimize waste and defective prints; reduce rework.

Equipment: Supervise daily machine maintenance and cleaning; report malfunctions and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.

Materials: Verify the requisition of paper, ink, plates, and auxiliary materials to prevent material errors and waste; manage basic inventory levels.

Team Management: Schedule shifts and assign tasks for press operators, assistants, apprentices, and post-press staff; manage daily attendance.

Skills Training: Conduct training on operational procedures, safety, and quality standards.

On-site Communication: Resolve team conflicts, issue production instructions, and ensure compliance with operating procedures.

Requirements:

Knowledge of printing fundamentals; familiarity with work order scheduling; ability to calculate production capacity, estimate delivery times, and control material waste.

Understanding of basic printing equipment, including daily maintenance and troubleshooting of minor faults.

Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and lead the team to meet performance targets.

Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.

Good physical condition and stamina.

Must be willing to work night shifts, Sundays, and public holidays.

Must be able to work irregular hours based on customer requirements.

Ability to work long hours, late evenings, and weekends.
