The posting

TEO SOON SENG PTE LTD is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor (Pick an Pack Team) to lead our logistics and distribution operations at Soon Lee Road. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily productivity of our picking and packing teams, ensuring inventory accuracy, and managing the workflow for food and beverage items including canned goods, cooking oil, sauces , canned beverages, rice, sugar, noodles, and spices.

2. Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Allocation: Manage, assign, and oversee daily picking/packing zones for Junior and Senior Picklers.
  • Process Flow Optimization: Supervise daily order fulfilment to guarantee that canned food, bulk items (rice, cooking oil, sugar), and fragile goods (noodles, spices) are picked fast, accurately, and stacked safely.
  • Quality & Escalation Control: Resolve picking errors, crosscheck inventory discrepancies, and ensure damaged stock is minimized.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce strict compliance with warehouse safety protocols, material handling equipment rules (pallet jacks, trolleys), and zone cleanliness.

3. KPI Performance Metrics (Salary Impact)

Your monthly payout within the S$3,500 to S$4,200 range depends on meeting the following supervisory performance targets:

  • Team Accuracy & QC (30%): Minimizing team picking errors, ensuring zero wrong items leave the warehouse, and keeping customer complaints to a minimum.
  • Speed & Fulfillment Output (30%): Hitting daily delivery deadlines by effectively motivating the team and optimizing team picking speeds.
  • Attendance & Leadership Discipline (20%): Personal shift compliance (Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, Sat 8am–1pm) and demonstrating strong team management skills.
  • Stock Control & Inventory Care (20%): Keeping product shrinkage and warehouse damage low (e.g., preventing torn rice/sugar bags) through proper stacking supervision.

4. Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (experience handling food & beverage or FMCG goods is highly advantageous).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and basic Microsoft Excel for tracking inventory and team schedules.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a diverse team of picklers, resolve workplace conflicts, and delegate tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Language & Communication: Strong communication skills in English and basic Mandarin to read picking documents, generate reports, and brief the team.

5. Physical Requirements

  • Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move around the warehouse floor for the duration of the 9 to 10hour shift to supervise operations.
  • Environment: Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-activity warehouse environment that may involve varying temperatures.
  • Manual Assistance: Ability to occasionally assist the team by lifting or moving heavy bulk items (up to 20kg–25kg, such as beverage crates or sacks of rice/sugar) during peak hours or when necessary.
