As a System Analyst (Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Analyse laboratory workflows, reporting processes and system capabilities for NEHR onboarding and HIA compliance.
- Gather and manage business, functional and system requirements with laboratory users, vendors and key stakeholders.
- Conduct process mapping and gap analysis against NEHR and regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate laboratory test mappings, result structures, terminology and coding standards.
- Work with vendors and application teams to translate requirements into system enhancements and implementation solutions.
- Assess the impact of system changes on laboratory operations, interfaces and downstream systems.
- Develop and execute test strategies, test scenarios and validation plans, including data accuracy checks.
- Coordinate UAT, defect management and issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Support HIA readiness, governance, audit preparation, cybersecurity/data security and regulatory compliance activities.
- Monitor project progress, risks and dependencies while preparing status reports, compliance dashboards and management updates, and supporting post-implementation improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Science, Business Analytics, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healhtcare environment for IT, business analysis, clinical systems,laboratory information systems (LIS), or healthcare operations.
- Experience in healthcare systems such as LIS, EMR, HIS, or NEHR would be advantageous.
