Our client is looking for an engineer with a strong systems background who enjoys technical discussions and working with clients and project teams. In this Master System Integrator (MSI) role, you will coordinate customer requirements and building systems integration through to testing and handover.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend site meetings and customer discussions to understand operational needs, specifications and project expectations.
  • Prepare functional requirements, use cases and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and track requirements through delivery and acceptance.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, system/IT teams and vendors on system interfaces, integration requirements and technical issues.
  • Review proposed solutions with technical teams to ensure alignment with approved architecture, standards and project specifications.
  • Monitor integration progress, follow up on risks and outstanding actions, and prepare technical documents, progress updates and customer presentations.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect follow-up, ensuring acceptance criteria and operational readiness before handover to maintenance teams.

This role focuses on technical coordination and integration oversight. Software development and system implementation are handled by the respective delivery teams.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Building Automation, IT, Computer Science, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in BMS/IBMS, smart buildings, system integration, ACMV controls, facilities management systems or digital building platforms.
  • Good understanding of building systems and controls, including ACMV, chiller plant operations and energy monitoring, with familiarity in networking, APIs/data exchange and BACnet/Modbus or equivalent protocols.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and technical documentation skills, with the ability to clarify requirements and coordinate clients, consultants and multiple vendors.
  • Experience in testing, commissioning or handover is advantageous. Exposure to healthcare/data centre projects, smart building analytics, Digital Twin, asset management, chiller optimisation or critical environment controls is a plus.
