Be Part of Our Team and Take Ownership of Real Infrastructure

NetXpose PTE Ltd is expanding in and we are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who can design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot business-critical IT infrastructure.

This is not a junior or learning role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of production systems and working independently across Microsoft, Linux, virtualization, cloud, networking, and security environments.

Your Role at NetXpose

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Windows Server Infrastructure Design, deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and related infrastructure.
  • Virtualisation Platforms Deploy and manage virtual environments using VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or similar technologies.
  • Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administer Microsoft 365 environments, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, security policies, identity, and access management.
  • Linux Systems Configure and maintain Linux-based systems and services, including troubleshooting, patching, monitoring, and security hardening.
  • Infrastructure Operations Manage servers, storage, backup systems, endpoint infrastructure, monitoring platforms, and core IT services.
  • Security & Hardening Implement security controls, patch management, endpoint protection, access controls, system hardening, and infrastructure security best practices.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery Design, maintain, and test backup, restore, and disaster-recovery procedures.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting Monitor infrastructure availability and performance and resolve complex systems, application, connectivity, and performance issues.
  • Automation & DevOps Use scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, SaltStack, or similar technologies.
  • Documentation Maintain accurate technical documentation, system inventories, configurations, procedures, diagrams, and operational runbooks.
  • Project Delivery Participate in infrastructure migrations, new deployments, upgrades, customer projects, and technical solution design.

What You Need to Qualify

Applicants should meet the majority of the following requirements:

  • Work Eligibility Must already be legally eligible to work in Singapore without employer sponsorship.
  • Experience Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in systems or infrastructure engineering. Experience supporting real production environments.
  • Microsoft Technologies Strong knowledge of Windows Server. Active Directory / Group Policy. Microsoft 365 / Entra ID. DNS / DHCP / identity and access management.
  • Virtualisation Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or equivalent platforms.
  • Operating Systems Strong Windows administration skills. Working knowledge of Linux administration.
  • Networking Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and general network troubleshooting.
  • Security Understanding of system hardening, patching, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and access controls.
  • Education Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Advantages

  • Microsoft certifications.
  • VMware / Veeam / Proxmox experience.
  • Fortinet or Cisco exposure.
  • Experience with Zabbix or other monitoring platforms.
  • Experience with backup technologies and NAS/SAN systems.
  • PowerShell, Python, Bash, or automation experience.
  • Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Exposure to OT / industrial environments.
  • Previous GCC experience is a plus.
